In today’s story we sit with Jerry as he sorts through his thoughts, struggles, and philosophies of life. This episode was especailly interesting because of how open it was. There was no set theme, no set time limit, and no restriction. We sat back and allowed Jerry to run through his thoughts the way he usually would in an effort to capture some of his thought processes and understandings about himself and the world.
Born and raised in the East Atlanta area, Jerry has lived throughout various parts of Georgia and explored much of the city to discover various parts of himself. Hearing more about these explorations was exactly what made this conversation so interesting. That on top of the free flow conversation around neurodivergence and current events made for an interesting combination on the perspective of an average 22 year old and how he’s currently handling things in life. Jerry’s goals and aspirations for himself and others often focused around self regulation and improvement. The mindset of continuous improvement and grounding has allowed him to lead a life that he finds satisfying.
We end the conversation with a few moral conclusions from Jerry as he summarizes his life, and the ways that he understands the world. In a way, Jerry approached this interview as a budding philosopher with ideas to share and thoughts to parse through. As he worked through them in this conversation, we get a glimpse at the larger context of the world we currently live in.
